My son came home from school a few weeks ago with the news that his teacher's wife was about to have a baby. I turned on him like he had just told me he was flunking out of 7th grade. "What do you mean?" "He just told you?" "When is she due?" "Boy or Girl?" Poor kid. He just doesn't understand the effect those words have on me. My fingers begin to twitch. My brain goes into inventory stash mode. My heart skips a beat.
Late last week he casually mentioned the baby had been born. A girl.
So this weekend I took a little break from my endless black stockinette..

I love the bi-color ribbing. (It is hard to see the bi-coloredness of the I-cord in the picture, but it sounds adorable. The whole hat is extremely adorable!) Why is no one around me having babies, so that they can benefit from my knitting prowess?
That's an adorable hat. I love the ribbing and the I-cord and...well...all of it.
What a very, very cute hat this is - the bi-colour-ribbing is just perfect!
wow, how do you do raglan hat shaping?
So pretty!
What a darling hat.
It looks so peachy-is that color right? I can imagine it on a darling little head...
I love this hat! Is it your pattern? Might you share if we bribe you somehow? Adorable.
And thanks for the comment for my post on Zimmermania. Mind if I post a link to you on my blog? Putting it up unless you tell me to take it down, ok?
Happy knitting and nice to "meet" you!
This is one of the cutes baby hats I've ever seen!
