When last you heard from me, I was impatient to begin a lace project. It was duly started and provided some soothing knitting therapy for me whilst I was away. But then we got the call that all was well with our niece Julia's pregnancy and I was overtaken by the allure of baby dud knitting.
So here is an in-progress shot of my EZ Surplice Baby Jacket:

Lace beginnings and yarn purchases to be documented soon ...

Welcome back! It's great to "hear" your voice again and to hear that you are feeling great. I love the colours you've chosen for the baby sweater.
Yay! Missed reading your posts (tho I never tire of looing at your Box the Compass...)
Gladdest that you are feeling well and back home safely knitting. (grinning in your direction)
Let's make that "looking" at your Box the Compass, shall we?
How cute! And look at all those perfect buttonholes. *sigh* Your knitting is so pretty.

Glad to hear you're back home and I hope you're feeling good. The baby duds look wonderful and I'm looking forward to seeing your lace project!
Welcome home and really glad you're feeling well. That baby jacket is such a great color. I hear ya about the tall sons. Isn't it weird?
